• Development of Open-Source Software and Algorithms
• Geophysical Data Processing, Inversion, and Modeling
• Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Geophysics
• Open Hardware and Geophysical Instrumentation
• Applied Geophysics (Seismic, Gravity, Magnetic, Electrical, and Electromagnetic Methods)
• Near-Surface Geophysics and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
• Computational Seismology and Geodynamics
• Remote Sensing and Earth Observation in Geophysical Contexts

With a specific focus on open technologies, JOTG serves as a platform for advancing accessible and replicable geophysical research. The journal accepts submissions from researchers worldwide and publishes articles exclusively in English. JOTG is published biannually (two issues per year) and welcomes two types of submissions:
