Author Guidelines

Please author follow this guideline before submitting the manuscript on JPPK!

  1. The manuscript must use the journal template. The journal template can be accessed here 
  2. The article must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (DOC or DOCX). Please make sure the document size is not over 5 MB.
  3. The manuscript has not been previously published or in the submission process for other journals.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
 
IMPORTANT! The author was allowed to provide potential reviewer and their data such as full name, email, full contact information, AND specific reasons for your suggestion in the “Criteria for Selection” box (e.g. expert in the field, published in this topic, expert in research methods, etc.). You can input the data here.

 

Author Guidelines

Please author follow this guideline before submitting the manuscript to the Jurnal Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Kebijakan!

 Jurnal Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Kebijakan (JPPK) is dedicated to publish highest quality research papers and review that covers Urban and Regional Planning and Science area of research. We welcome full research articles in the following area, including but not limited to:

a) Regional planning and development;

b) Urban planning and development;

c) Urban design and district planning; and also,

d) Policy development that is related to spatial planning and utilization.

 Manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and submitted solely to  Jurnal Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Kebijakan (JPPK). All figures should be in tiff or jpeg format with high resolution (300 or 600 dpi). References listed in the text should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) Format Citation Guide 

 

 

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

The manuscript should be presented with original and important findings of the research, based on Urban and Regional Science or planning practice.

Before submit the manuscript, please experience Submission Tutorial Video and do the double-check to details below:

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and Templates.
  5. The article should be submitted in paper format that can be downloaded at Templates section on web
  6. All the text, tables, or figures that have copyright should be referred to copyright holder properly
  7. The manuscripts uses APA style citation format
  8. The theoretical review is highly important to the manuscript and included in the background section to provide the novelty and theoretical basis of the manuscript
