DAMPAK PARIWISATA BERBASIS KOMUNITAS TERHADAP EKONOMI LOKAL DI BANDA NEIRA

Abstract

Banda Neira, as the administrative center of the Banda District, which is tangible evidence of history, has now become a unique attraction for enthusiasts of historical and cultural tourism, coupled with its extraordinary natural charm. With all the richness it possesses, Banda Neira has the potential to become a competitive tourist destination by utilizing local wisdom and being community-based, where the community becomes the main focus in developing tourism (Community-based Tourism). This study aims to review and/or analyze the development of CBT in Banda Neira and observe the impact of CBT on the local economy and even the regional economy. After conducting the analysis, it was found that CBT in Banda Neira has indeed had a positive impact on the local economy in Banda Neira; however, this still requires improvement in many aspects to strengthen the image and sustainability of cultural tourism.
