Communication in Food Science and Technology (CFST) publishes fully open access journals, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. Benefits of open access for authors, include:

Article Processing Charge

To support the cost of journal production and ensure the sustainability of open-access publishing, Communication in Food Science and Technology applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 50< per accepted article.

However, as part of our commitment to promoting knowledge dissemination and encouraging contributions from a broader academic community, we are waiving all APCs until the end of 2025.

There are no submission or review fees at any stage of the publication process.
