This study explores the success factors in infrastructure megaprojects in Indonesia, focusing on four National Strategic Projects (PSN): Yogyakarta International Airport, MRT Jakarta, Smelter Morowali, and LRT Palembang. The research uses a multiple case study approach and qualitative analysis to assess the success of the projects based on three key elements: a clear vision, total alignment, and adaptation to complexity. The results indicate that Yogyakarta International Airport achieved the highest score due to its success in all three elements, while the other projects faced significant challenges, particularly in alignment and adaptation to social and environmental challenges. MRT Jakarta Phase 1 and Smelter Morowali were somewhat successful despite challenges such as land acquisition and cost increases, while LRT Palembang faced issues with transport integration and financial sustainability. The key success factors identified in these megaprojects include clear project vision, alignment between strategic, operational, and tactical goals at all stakeholder levels, the ability to address technical, social, and environmental challenges, management transparency, infrastructure integration, and community participation. Based on these findings, the study recommends improving communication and community involvement from the planning stage through to implementation, as well as adopting a more holistic adaptive approach to address social and environmental challenges, aiming to enhance project sustainability and ensure benefits are shared equitably by the community.
Afrinaldi Afrinaldi

The advancement of information and communication technology has proliferated globally, as demonstrated by the emergence of various startups such as Gojek and Grab. Among the principal services provided by these enterprises is online food delivery, which facilitates the convenient ordering of food and beverages via mobile devices. This technological transformation not only influences patterns of human mobility but also shapes consumer preferences concerning the utilization of online food delivery services. This research employs descriptive analysis and logistic regression analysis as its methodological approach. The results indicate that preferences for using online food delivery services are determined not solely by socioeconomic factors and technological familiarity, but are also significantly influenced by social interactions and lifestyle considerations. Consequently, online food delivery services have not entirely supplanted the custom of dining in at restaurants; rather, they function as a complementary option that addresses the quotidian needs of consumers.
Renny DesianaSyamsu Rizal HendartoMiming Miharja

Land conversion is a phenomenon of land conversion that causes a decrease in the proportion of a land area to other functions. In peri-urban areas that are dominated by agricultural land, its function changes to non-agricultural land due to land conversion for the construction of public facilities for the community. Especially at the location of this research study located in Gentan Village, Baki District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. The existence of land conversion causes the loss of productive agricultural land so that farmers experience decreased productivity and affects farmers' livelihoods which change from agriculture to non-agriculture such as opening boarding houses, rental houses, shops, stalls and so on. This study uses a deductive quantitative approach with GIS analysis, Likert scale and Wilcoxon test to determine changes in farmers' livelihoods due to agricultural land conversion as the purpose of the study. The use of the snowball sampling technique with a quota of 32 farmers whose land was converted is based on the limitations of secondary data in the search for respondents. So that from this study it was found that land conversion causes significant changes in livelihoods that can affect socio-economic and environmental conditions.
Lauren Adellia MargaretaIsti AndiniParamita Rahayu

https://journal.itera.ac.id/index.php/jppk/article/view/2180

A creative city aims to improve community welfare by nurturing local creative clusters. Surakarta is a creative city that developed by establishing creative clusters in the form of creative villages. It is widely known for its batik idustry. While most of its clusters focus on batik industries, Serengan Subdistrict has an alternative creative cluster potential that specifically produces blangkon and shuttlecock. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method to examine the potential of non-batik creative cluster in Serengan Subdistrict. Our analysis is guided by the three dimensions of creative potential: creative economy, creative milieu, and creative class. Data and information were collected from documentary reviews, observations, and interviews. The data were subsequently processed using a descriptive qualitative research method. The study findings emphasies the strong potential of Serengan to be promoted as a strategic creative cluster that produces alternative products amidst the domination of batik industries in Surakarta, which is expected to improve the well-being of the local community. However, among the three components of a creative city, the creative class and the creative milieu’s development remain underdeveloped. Collaborative processes and participatory activites are still infrequent, and there are no dedicated spaces that facilitate these interaction.
Jovina Chandra AureliaWinny AstutiChrisna T. Permana

Bukit Pelangi Green Open Space has excellent potential to implement the concept of a smart city, especially in applying smart environmental dimensions with a focus on using technology to improve environmental quality, resource management efficiency, and public services. This study aims to determine the application of a smart environment in green open spaces in Bukit Pelangi, Sangatta City. This study uses a deductive approach with qualitative research methods. The data collection methodology includes literature studies, field observations, and stakeholder interviews on implementing a smart environment. This study uses a case study in Bukit Pelangi because the area is currently developing an integrated green open space with smart environmental technology. The study results show that Bukit Pelangi Park has tried to implement the concept of a smart environment. The application of this smart environment has met the suitability of the indicators of the availability and contribution of green open spaces, parks with WiFi facilities, the use of CCTV, and the existence of a waste bank. Indicators still less appropriate are the existence of an automatic watering system and an electricity network. Meanwhile, indicators that are not yet appropriate or face challenges include using solar panels and applying a zero-waste lifestyle.
Zauharatul LutfiahNimah Mahnunah

Urban growth often leads to various issues, one of which is slum problems. This study identifies the characteristics of slum settlements in the coastal area of Bandar Lampung City, with the aim of understanding the physical and non-physical conditions that influence slum development. The slum settlements in the coastal area emerged due to geographic, social, economic factors, and non-compliance with regulations, making them vulnerable to natural disasters. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through observation and questionnaires. The results indicate that the slum settlements are divided into two types: those located on land and those standing above the sea. The infrastructure conditions in these slum areas are very poor, including irregular building structures, non-compliance with technical standards, and deficiencies in waste water management, garbage collection, and fire protection. The socio-economic aspects of the community also show low levels of welfare, with the majority of the population working in the informal sector. This research is expected to contribute to the formulation of strategies for addressing slum settlements in the coastal area of Bandar Lampung.
Chania RahmahZahrotunnur Rumondang PakpahanIlham Candra SyawaludinElkana Maruli SihombingFarah Alfia AnandirzaDara MelindaRuth Mentari SimbolonGhyseila Batya

The conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural uses can significantly reduce the area available for food crop cultivation, posing serious risks to both local and national food security. In Sukoharjo Subdistrict, rice fields have increasingly been transformed into residential zones. Since rice is the primary staple food and a major crop cultivated by local farmers, it is essential to strengthen their motivation to preserve rice farming land. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence farmers' willingness to maintain rice cultivation in Sukoharjo. A deductive approach was employed, using quantitative methods and multiple line-ar regression analysis to identify key variables affecting farmer motivation. From the farmers’ viewpoint, several elements play a role, including age, farming experience, education level, land size, income, access to production inputs, market prices, agricultural extension services, farmer group activities, and land value. Understanding these factors is crucial for designing effective programs that support farmers in sustaining rice farming and enhancing agricultural productivity. By identifying what drives farmers to continue culti-vating rice, stakeholders can implement targeted interventions that not only protect agricultural land but also ensure long-term food supply stability in the region.
Baiq Rindang AprildahaniArdhea Millenia Abdiaty
